LSVFM w/TOV-updates

I recently had the pleasure of chatting with Dave Bupp, aka The Taste of Vomit, about his music career and his latest project, The Indoorsman. During our conversation, we took a retrospective look at his music catalog and the beginning of his career as a rap MC. Dave explained that he started his music career in the early 2010s as part of the Philly rap scene. He honed his craft by freestyling and performing along other MCs in local venues. Over time, he developed his own unique style.

We delved into his earlier albums and discussed the evolution of his music over the years. Dave shared that his earlier music was more focused on fitting as many ideas and verses as he could, while his newer music is more introspective and personal, allowing the space between the words create the vibe and grooves. As we discussed The Indoorsman, Bupp spoke passionately about his desire to break down the stigma surrounding mental health issues through his music. He shared that his creative process involves using music as a form of therapy to cope with his own struggles with depression and anxiety. Our conversation provided an insightful look into the career of one of Philly's most original upcoming rappers. From his early days to his current focus on mental health advocacy, Dave Bupp continues to push the boundaries of what it means to be a rap artist.

At LSVFM updates we are very thankful to have Dave stop by and share his music with us!
